Here are a few of the most common questions we hear from customers:

What do you do?

We create custom speakers and entire systems for listening to music or home theater. We design both residential and commercial sound systems at a much lower cost than you would pay for the usual brand names in the finest audio stores. 3Dz Audio is a bass specialist, offering some of the finest subsonic subwoofers anywhere.

How to price or charge, by the hour?

For each project, we look at the time involved in creating the design, from the math required to calculate the cabinet design and crossovers to the fabrication of whatever thickness of cabinet you prefer. Then we add the materials to arrive at the total cost for your set. Since every system is different, prices can range considerably, but will always be lower than the same quality in the popular high-end brand names.

Can you work in my budget?

Yes, we can work out a design to fit your budget (within reason). Our minimum custom design fee is $1000 for a pair. That means you can tell us what you need, and we will create the best possible system for your budget. You will not find a better system for the same money anywhere else.

Can you match drivers?

Our drivers are closely matched in every pair we sell. If you want custom tolerances, we can match within 0.5 dB per driver for $100 a driver pair.

Does the Collossus SubTower really go down to 15 Hz (truly subsonic)?

Yes they are truly subsonic and go all the way down to 15 Hz or lower! But you don't have to take our word for it -- you will feel it in your gut.
